Southbank Institute of Technology partnered with Tourism Futures in 2010 to host the event in its state-of-the-art conference facilities.

Southbank Institute is Queensland's leading provider of vocational education and training, and specialises in the delivery of training to approximately 30,000 students annually across five key sectors - nursing and allied health, music and performing arts, IT and digital media, engineering and tourism and hospitality.

The world-class campus, comprising purpose-built classrooms, a training bistro and restaurant, gymnasium and health and beauty spa, was unveiled in 2008 after a $550 million redevelopment.

It is located in the heart of Brisbane's Southbank precinct – home of the Queensland Cultural Centre, restaurants and hotels.
