A half day forum dedicated to exploring issues related to city tourism and city marketing. Topics to be covered include: cities and their importance to international and domestic tourism; city branding and current brand equity positions; what the future holds: an examination of international trends in city tourism; cities – good places to live are good places to visit. Three case studies of competing cities (Glasgow, Edinburgh and Liverpool) will be featured. Delegates will explore how these cities are rising to the challenge of re-establishing their brands. The format will provide significant opportunities for discussion and debate.
