The Eighth National
Conference on Tourism Futures, held on 5-7 July at Brisbane Southbank, Queensland, had a very strong attendance
at over 350 and outstanding media coverage.
The delegation was comprised of CEOs,
tourism operators, industry representatives, policy
makers, academics and researchers from throughout
Australia and a strong presence from overseas industry
collegues who identified a range of key issues, trends
and challenges facing the tourism industry.
