The Sixth National Conference on Tourism Futures, held on 2-4 June 2008 at the Gold Coast, Queensland, had a record attendance of almost 450 delegates.
The delegation was comprised of CEOs, tourism operators, industry representatives, policy makers, academics and researchers from throughout Australia and a strong presence from overseas industry collegues who identified a range of key issues, trends and challenges facing the tourism industry.
