The Fifth National Conference on Tourism Futures, held on 4-6 December 2006 in Melbourne, had a record attendance of almost 400 delegates.

The delegation was comprised of CEOs, tourism operators, industry representatives, policy makers, academics and researchers from throughout Australia and New Zealand who identified a range of key
issues, trends and challenges facing the region’stourism industry.
