The Fourth National Conference on Tourism Futures, held from 2-5 October 2005 on the Gold Coast, had a record attendance of over 375 delegates.

This was comprised of CEO’s, tourism operators, industry representatives, policy makers, academics and researchers from throughout Australia who identified a range of key issues, trends and challenges facing the Australian tourism industry.
