Tourism Australia, Tourism Queensland and Gold Coast Tourism staged the sixth National Conference on Tourism Futures which was held from 2-4 June 2008, on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
This year’s conference theme ‘Global Market, Competitive Edge’ focussed on the ways and means destinations can maintain or achieve a competitive edge despite operating in an increasingly globalised and homogenised world.
